Isaiah 53:3-5

He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

Tonight campers will witness a little bit of what Christ went through to free them from their sins. They will see him be rejected and afflicted by men. They will see how he was beaten and mocked. They will see how he carried their sins to the cross in order to be the sacrfice that was so needed. They will also see that he has risen from the dead and overcome death. They will know that it is by his wounds that we are healed. Let none of us forget the fact that it is through Christ, his suffering, his sacrifice and his victory that we can find salvation. Praise be to God for the wonderful gift of Jesus!

I feel healthy, I feel happy, I feel terrific, ALRIGHT!!!
