Since Camp Deer Run is located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas, it is a wonderful place for retreats! Youth groups, ladies' retreats, elders'/deacons' retreats, all-church retreats, and family reunions may be scheduled at our facility during our retreat season from August through May. Enjoy the refreshing surroundings of nature and relax in our peaceful camp setting. Our facilities include a swimming pool, ropes course, nature trails, cookout spots, basketball and volleyball courts, and softball fields (sports equipment provided). You may choose from our two options of accommodating your group's retreat. We can (1) help you plan a menu, prepare and serve your meals, or (2) allow you to use our kitchen and dining facilities and provide your own food and cooking. With either choice, you can be confident that the needs of your group will be met! Make your reservations soon!
