Our Camp Director Don Neal has been associated with Camp Deer Run for a great number of years. He began directing CDR in May of 2006. Don and his wife, Jane, have four beautiful children: Mary Claire, Peter, Rachel and Honor. Don and Jane met at Deer Run in 1994. They worked on the summer staff in 1994-95 and returned in 1997-98 with Don as Program Director. They spent five years as missionaries in Togo, West Africa. The Neals worked on a team of rural church planters among the Kabiye people. We are thankful for Don and his family. We pray that the Lord will use Don and his family to continue the wonderful work at Camp Deer Run.

Ty Ford - Program Director

Ty has also been associated with Camp Deer Run for many years. After working on the summer Staff for 8 years he became apart of the year-round Staff in September, 2005. Ty was recently married in Nashville, Tennessee to his wife Janelle. She worked at CDR in 2005 & 2006. They have returned home to CDR where they will be living for the year. Ty graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in Marketing.

Scarecrow - Maintenance Dept.

Scarecrow has been working full-time for CDR since 1998. He was a camper and a part of the Summer Staff during the 80's. Scarecrow takes care of our facilities and camp grounds. He is beloved by our campers and an important part of our mission effort here at Camp Deer Run.

Lowe Ann Elliott - Secretary

This is the first time that Lowe Ann has been associated with CDR, although she has worked with several other Christian youth camps. Lowe Ann lives in Winnsboro, where her husband is the minister at the church there. They have three grown children and four grandchildren. Gerald and Lowe Ann spent 10 years in Brazil where they planted a rural church in Maringa, Parana. She is looking forward to a long and fruitful association with Camp Deer Run.
