Camp Deer Run Showing
Help us kick off our Never Run Dry tour with a celebration and showing at the very place where the whole story unfolds - Camp Deer Run.
Come one, come all to see the Camp Deer Run premiere of Never Run Dry. There will be live music, hay rides, and hot chocolate, and for dinner we’ll have good old fashioned campfire hot dogs, homemade chili, and Ms. Jewel’s famous pies! We’ll have a fire in the outdoor fireplace on the back porch of the new mess hall as well as a camp fire in the woods to stay warm around. When the sun goes down, we’ll watch the movie on a big screen on the deck of the new Mess Hall. Bring the whole family, and let’s get this show on the road!

Red Carpet Premiere
We are overwhelmed and so richly blessed by the outpouring of support that you all showed for Camp Deer Run at our Red Carpet Event. The title of the movie, Never Run Dry, truly sums up the night for us. God never fails to pour out his blessings on us, so long as we are focused on Him. The night of the premiere was just a continuation of the long line of blessings that God has provided for Camp Deer Run. We were so thankful to have all of you there. It was incredible to see the whole theater packed to the brim with Deer Runners, young and old, rookies and veterans alike. Even to those of you who didn’t know a single thing about Camp Deer Run before, we hope you can call yourself a Deer Runner now, and we welcome you to this big crazy family.
Thank you all for making this event such a great success. Over 300 people were in attendance Saturday night, despite all the rain. It was, as always, also a powerful reminder of the unity of Christ to see so many brothers and sisters brought together by this little old camp out in the big woods. After the movie ended, it meant so much to hear from Gwen Bristow, wife of our late founder Benny Bristow, speak about Camp Deer Run to the audience. It was moving to see how grateful she was that her and her husband’s work had been continued by so many people to this day, and how amazed she was at what God had done through the little camp they created. God uses the lowly things of this world to display his glory, and he has certainly done that with Camp Deer Run.
Thank you for your continued support of Camp Deer Run, for making relationships and memories like these possible, and for stewarding the good news of Jesus to generation after generation of Deer Runners. We are so blessed to be partnered with you in this ministry.
