Office Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

To serve as the primary point of contact for any and all Camp Deer Run customers and to provide administrative support, guidance, and customer service to camper families, donors, alumni, etc. The position is responsible for managing the day-to-day office operations and customer service needs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Director of Internal Operations to manage our Office and on-site operations
 
 
  • Provide excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and on email.
 
 
  • Be comfortable and familiar with the basics of how our Camp systems operate (CircuiTree, Bunk1/CDR app, ClickUp, QuickBooks, Bloomerang).
 
 
  • Work with the Director of Internal Operations to maintain our donor database and Camp Management software.
 
 
  • Work with the Director of Internal Operations to manage our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
 
 
  • Work with all office staff to maintain a clean and hospitable work environment.
 
 
  • Provide assistance to other staff as needed to accomplish tasks.
 

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Check the mail & distribute it accordingly, manage outgoing mail
 
 
  • Manage the office email account and respond to emails appropriately
 
 
  • Answer the phone and provide appropriate customer service
 
 
  • Keep Camp’s files up to date and help clean them up as needed.
 
 
  • Manage and pay all utility bills, loans, and invoices every month.
 
 
  • Maintain proper filing system of all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
 
 
  • Manage and issue all invoices from Camp Deer Run to customers
 
 
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor management system
 
 
  • Manage donations received and issue thank you letters
 
 
  • Deposit any donations received through the mail
 
 
  • Manage online gift shop orders received and mail them out

  • Committed follower of Jesus with the desire to prayerfully serve and bless others through their efforts in this mission
 
  • Passion for CDR’s mission and programs
 
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teammates, Board Members, and volunteers.
 
  • A Self-starter who is flexible and willing to adjust as needed to accomplish goals.
 
  • Database management skills.
 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with prospects, donors, and/or volunteers in a wide range of roles.
 
  • A deep commitment to the mission and values of our organization.
 

OPPORTUNITY

Salary Range: $30,000 to $36,000

Start Date: September 1, 2024
